Bis zu deren Aufhebung 1926 war er Direktor der landwirtschaftlichen Schule. In seiner Zeit als Ökonom wurde vom italienischen Staat der Strasserhof für Kasernenbauten enteignet. Ebenso verlor das Kloster große Teile des „Guggu“. Auch die alte Klostermühle und die anschließenden alten Häuser mussten mit 2/3 Teilen des Patergartens der neuen großen Straße nach Bozen weichen. Mit den Enteignungsgeldern wurde das Frankgut in Siebeneich und der Aussererhof in Eppan erworben. Auch das Sommerfrischehaus in Jenesien wurde den Tertiarschwestern in Bozen veräußert. 1933 erkrante P. Rudolf schwer, erholte sich aber wieder. In den 1930er Jahren war er "Vikar", d.h. Vertreter des Klosters gegenüber den Behörden.</ins></div></td></tr>

Rudolf absolvierte das Gymnasium in Sarnen, legte in Gries am 13. September 1891 die einfachen Gelübde ab und empfing am 30. November 1895 die Priesterweihe. 1896 wurde er Kooperator in [[Jenesien]], 1902 Kurat in [[Afing]]. 1896 erhielt er die österreichische Staatsbürgerschaft. 1913 wurde er vom neuen Abt, [[Alfons Maria Augner]], als [[Ökonom]] ins Stift zurückgerufen. 1922 bis 1924 war er zudem Katechet in St. Georgen ([[Gries]]). Bis zu deren Aufhebung 1926 war er Direktor der landwirtschaftlichen Schule. In seiner Zeit als Ökonom wurde vom italienischen Staat der Strasserhof für Kasernenbauten enteignet. Ebenso verlor das Kloster große Teile des „Guggu“. Auch die alte Klostermühle und die anschließenden alten Häuser mussten mit 2/3 Teilen des Patergartens der neuen großen Straße Bozen weichen. Mit den Enteignungsgeldern wurde das Frankgut in Siebeneich und der Aussererhof in Eppan erworben. Auch das Sommerfrischehaus in Jenesien wurde den Tertiarschwestern in Bozen veräußert. 1933 erkrante P. Rudolf schwer, erholte sich aber wieder. In den 1930er Jahren war er "Vikar", d.h. Vertreter des Klosters gegenüber den Behörden. P. Rudolf war ein in Geschäft und Religion gewissenhafter Mann.
